Very rare 1956 US Mono pressing. All details from the original pressing are present except for the flat edge and "framed" cover. 161 Lexington Ave labels with deep groove. RVG etched in dead wax both sides. Plastylite logo in dead wax on both side. 9M etched on both sides. No ® on labels. Regular non laminated cover with 47 West 63rd Street address on the back. Comes with OIS (some wear).
Legendary Burrell first ever recording on the New-York label. Amazing hard-bop session with a perfect latin twist brought by Candido on the percs ! Formation includes Kenny Clarke, Tommy Flanagan and Paul Chambers. Essential and iconic Blue Note tittle !
A very clean copy for its age.
Record : VG++, visually EX, shows no marks, shinny and glossy wax. Plays amazing with very minimal background noises between tracks, not affecting playback. Some light dots on labels. Amazing dynamics and deepness as expected from a Plastylite pressing.
Cover : VG, nice shape. Clean corners and edges except for the top right part that shows a 11cm partial split. Back cover shows some humidity spots.

All product for sale are carefully inspected and ultrasonically cleaned before dispatch.
To best reflect the condition of the record and cover we use the international record grading chart that you can find on all product description pages. You can check here the description of each condition symbols :
- M : Brand new record/cover.
- NM : Perfect condition, record appear unplayed. Cover shows no defect.
- EX : Beautiful condition, record may show minimal scuffs that are inaudible. Cover is in beautiful shape, may show a couple minimal and subtle defect.
- VG++ : Very nice condition, light marks may appear on the record under light but will not disturb playback. Cover is in very nice condition, may show light wear on edges and light spots.
- VG+ : Nice condition, some light surface marks are visible on the record, may play with minimal background noises. Cover may show some wear and spots.
- VG : Several marks are visible not he record, some clicks or pops may be heard during playback. Cover shows stronger wear with defect such as partial splits and stronger spots all over.
